At FlightLogger, we have been monitoring and reporting on the level of activities going on in the pilot training business, based on data from more than 110 pilot training organizations using the FlightLogger platform worldwide.
Despite all the challenges that 2020 has caused to the aviation industry, we have been gratified to see many pilot training organizations join the FlightLogger family. More than 30 academies have been added to our list of partners this last year.

Even though COVID-19 is still affecting the aviation industry, we have had the pleasure of welcoming an impressive number of new pilot academies as new FlightLogger partners this autumn. This time, we are happy to announce Sydney Flight Training as the latest organization to join the family.
Last month, we had the honor of welcoming another Danish flight training organization as a FlightLogger partner. Earlier this year, AGD opened their facilities in northern Jutland, Denmark and now they are ready to welcome the first pilot students on their FlightLogger controlled training programs.
As we approach the end of 2020, we are thrilled to welcome Heli Protection Europe as the first Italian helicopter school joining as a FlightLogger partner, thereby increasing the total tally of Italian pilot academies using FlightLogger to four.
Since Covid-19 hit us early this year, experts from the aviation industry have made predictions on its impact on the demand for new pilots worldwide, and thereby also on the activity level, that pilot training organizations should expect for the coming years. Most of these have naturally been based on assumptions on how the need for pilots will develop in the years to come.
This month, the total number of Danish flight schools using the FlightLogger platform grew to 10 as Zealand Flight Academy from Roskilde completed their onboarding. Being a brand-new startup academy, Zealand Flight Academy is a living proof that the FlightLogger platform also fits small-sized training organizations.
Amidst tough periods like the ones we are currently experiencing during Covid-19, we at FlightLogger insist on more than just enduring the challenges. Looking just a couple of years ahead, we are convinced the demand for efficient, high-quality pilot training will only go up - which is why we are increasing our investments in building an even better platform for pilot training organizations despite the challenging times for the industry.
This month, the Debrecen based pilot training organization PHARMAFLIGHT completed the implementation of the cloud-based FlightLogger flight school management platform. PHARMAFLIGHT thereby became the second Hungarian school to choose FlightLogger’s market-leading solution for managing their flight school operations.
